Two songs that come to mind which both aren't excactly blues, but come near in both performance and emotional context are Stormy weather and Brother can you spare a dime. Or am I now inventing a subgenre that didn't exist before? ;-)

I would be happy to support too. PayPal would be my preferred way to transfer money: it's international, it's free, it's reliable, making an account goes fast and it works very easy - used it many times.

A new re-issue appeared today, entitled Swing and serenade: the Bing Crosby golf classics. Only three songs though: Anthem of the clams, Tomorrow's my lucky day, Straight down the middle.
I could have thought of some more titles ...

It's available on the streaming services; Spotify, YouTube and what have you.

I see that there are now five albums in the 'Bing Crosby sings and swings' series (I guess it is a series now). Three albums of 'Bing Crosby sings and swings love songs', another one 'sings and swings Hawaiian' and the fifth 'sings and swings latin'. Nothing new, as far as I could see. However, I am still hoping for something new - one day!

Thanks David. It's an interesting interview; Phil Crosby has something to say. Which could help towards enlightening the youngsters Graham Pascoe spoke with! ;-)
