I remember Bing saying Stardust was his favorite. Don't remember what interview I was watching at the time. I know I am one a a very few who does not like the song Stardust. I just never liked the flow of the melody. It just did not do anything for me and I thought Bing sang many other songs much better than he sang Stardust. But hey, I always had different taste from the majority. Anyway, didn't he also mention once liking Ghost Riders in the Sky? He probably had many favorites. Great topic Pantelis!

I met Kathryn at Hofstra and I was with her at a few Crosby Brooklyn and New York events after that. She picked me to accompany her. I ate with her, saw movies with her and went to the ladies room with her. I only regret I could not go to her home when I was invited. If only I could turn back time! However, there was an evil fan around back then who got a little envious and ruined any future meetings with Kathryn. I do not think she is alive anymore but she was evil.

Ian, I was able to post photo when I started post but after that I couldn't. Lucky I figure at a few things at this age. I think I know which photo Pantelis is talking about. Bing and Kathryn always radiated such warmth in photos. Especially that one. I always loved how Kathryn looked at Bing with such love and admiration. When they did the Joe Franklin Show she looks at him the way I described. Love that interview, one of the best. I remember going to Joe's restaurant in Manhattan and watching it on a tv( I had seen it already because a fan gave me a copy. ). Joe came over and greeted me. He remembered me from one of Kathryn's events in the city. Very nice man, started to get a little senile a few years after that. I loved his show. Nothing like it now.

Was this movie released on blue ray yet? I think a seller on ebay is selling a bootleg copy of it on blue ray.

In my book about Bob( name escapes me), author mentions many actors who were gay but claimed Bob liked prostitutes and that is why could not have kids( STDs). Some actors mentioned Eric Blore and Edward Everett Horton( he was adapted when he was a baby by the actress who is the Old Lady in the Shoe from March of the Wooden Soldiers movie.) I can't think of her name right now.

You are right Ian, Carole Lombard. I would say it was on the set of "We're Not Dressing" when a trick was played on Carole Lombard, I believe the crew put something in the water that made her skin itchy as a joke. I forgot the story, will have to look it up again. I like your photo sort of has an antique look about it. I do favor the young Bing, but I am a woman so I like looking at men when they were young and handsome. Lol!

Malcolm, I looked at posting again and back is signed by someone, hard to make it out. It looks like Bob Milt? The B is written like Bing's B.

I just purchased a signed Check by Bing Crosby for $45. I will try and post it here but do not understand how to do it here. Anyway, I purchased it because it was written the month and year I was born June 1964. It is on a check with Bing's name printed on top and signed by Bing. I know his signature by now.
I think I uploaded it! Is it worth $45?
