Our fascination with Bing Crosby and other celebrities who lived and played in the desert never ends. An architect of 20th century entertainment, Crosby was a pioneer in the world of movies, radio, and television as well as a proponent
of the wonders of technology. He owned homes and property in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and Palm Desert. In his later years, Crosby spent time on Coachella Valley golf courses, playing with Phil Harris, Bob Hope and Leonard Firestone. Robert S. Bader will supplement his presentation with film and slides.
Robert S. Bader is the Vice President of Bing Crosby Enterprises, HLC Properties, LTD. Bader is the curator of the Bing Crosby Archive and recently produced the public broadcasting special, The Legendary Bing Crosby. He is also the author of Four of the Three Musketeers: The Marx Brothers on Stage.
