It's that time of year again—Halloween (and also my wife's birthday!). So, like every year, this evening, we will be watching The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, with Bing narrating the Washington Irving classic, singing, and doing most of the voices. I just love those songs, particularly the one about "Ichabod, Ichabod Crane" and the one about "that coquette Katrina." And this year, it will be extra special, because our little four-month-old baby daughter, Libby, will be watching Ichabod for the first time! She's too little and probably won't realize much of what's going on, but it's exciting to us anyway...

Oh, and the great British actor Basil Rathbone isn't bad either as he narrates the story of Mr. Toad, from The Wind in the Willows!
