Thanks for making it. I enjoyed it very much, and the selections were all marvelous.
It is a very nice and somehow "pure" period in Bing's singing. Those legendary years produced some of Bing's finest ever recordings. My favorite characteristic of Bing's is the Jack Kapp vision of making him the voice of American music covering all genres, perfectly embodied by his collaboration with John Scott Trotter. For me that gave Bing the opportunity to sing many things, explore and promote entire genres and working consistently in a variety of material until his death. Yet we have to admit that in those early days, the Pre-Decca years gave Bing a unique opportunity to sing all those sublime recordings that are so nicely highlighted in this production!!!

David. This is terrific on many levels. First of all, you have a natural broadcasting voice, wonderful intonation and diction. Also your faultless choice of recordings is to be commended. Many of them signature ones and rightfully featured. Plus your background information on them and Bing's life at the time was pitch perfect.
Once able, I will hurry back to listen to your first programme. Congratulations.

You both are too kind. I have never liked my voice personally but I do a lot of talking, LOL. I cut off maybe a second or two from Learn To Croon and I didn't notice it until it was done. I think a lot of Bing's pre Decca output is forgotten today.
