Sorry I missed last few meetings. Caught them on Youtube. Boy! I wish I could attend Jason's get togethers. I can just picture me singing along with Ian and others. I guess Ian is the Patti Andrews of the group. Lol! Jason, whatever happened to your Lizard? Did he die from all the bad singing? Lol!

We ate the lizard in the sandwiches...
Hope you can join us in the online meetings again soon...

Lol! You are too funny Jason. How come Ian has not been at last few meetings?

I am very glad to hear that you found my contributions to the meeting worthwhile. Bing provides tones of material for good presentations and the Country Girl commercial recordings were really overlooked gems. You have an amazing ear to determine the composer without seeing it. Harold Arlen was one of the best. I was thinking that Joseph Lilley was very experienced in vocal arrangments as well so that might explain the tremendous duet with Patty and I am looking forward reading the article about him in our next issue. Παρακαλώ!

Thanks Anton! I miss you guys very much. Caught the meetings I missed on YouTube thanks to you for posting them. Pantelis, great presentation as always! You are gifted, so natural. Anton too. Excellent! So knowledgeable, both of you. Jason, I miss the Lizard. I bet Ian at him.

Hello Carmela. You'll never believe this but a few times I was actually roped into playing Patti Andrews, aged nine years for an Andrews Sisters drag act for a few concerts while in the UK boy scouts - I know, wonders never cease! These days at Jason's get togethers, I'm more of an ultra background Chesney Allen.

Just a couple of fresh chest complaints, Carmela. Believe me, there's plenty else I could complain about ... such as the lack of Bing's records on UK radio, his films on UK television - and why getting older in non-negotiable.

Thank you, Anton - this really helped in my not being able to make the most recent two.

I'll more than second that. Pantelis, your presentations are always original in concept, immaculately researched and so engagingly delivered.
