Doing the Bing
The official Bing Crosby YouTube channel has just released “Doing The Bing”, a musical number from The Bing Crosby Show for Clairol, which aired on ABC on Christmas Eve of 1962.Bing is in excellent form here as he introduces a fictional dance trend in a playful and humorous way with a perfectly fitting choreography. The video has already reached one thousand views within the first few hours.

Thank you, Pantelis. That was beaut. I wonder how many takes it took to get that right. That show was telecast in Australia on Christmas Day 1962 but I was unable to watch it because I was in a rural area with no TV reception.
