This was new to me when I saw the old photos. Has anyone come across this before?
I wonder where the mannequins ended up?! Guessing it was a national campaign from 1952 judging by the sheet music in the pic.
Also when you scroll down on the link page you can see pics of Gary Crosby with the winner of the contest, holding a likeness of Bing's head.

I have to agree with Archiefit, that it does indeed look like something from the Twilight Zone - perhaps as if Bing and Fred Astaire had a middle brother?

Ian, you are too funny! But to me it looks more like if Stan Laurel and Fred had a son. Poor Bing his dolls, statues and mannequins don't look like him at all. Got to be Good Looking cause he's so hard to see.
