Re: Easter with Bing

It's Easter so naturally I gotta hear a Bing Easter show.   Today I heard the 4/13/49 episode with Peggy Lee and the Gonzaga Glee Club singers.   I particularly like Peggy & Bing's duet version of Easter Parade and Bing singing one of my favorite songs "You Tell Me Your Dream I'll Tell You Mine" I know that's not the title but I can never think of it even though the lyrics ring in my head.   Anyway a very enjoyable Easter with BIng.

Re: Easter with Bing

I enjoyed them, especially the 18 Jan. 1945 show and its reference to the discovery of gold in Australia in 1851 which was about an hour's drive from my home in Bathurst, New South Wales.

Re: Easter with Bing

There aren't too many Easter songs.  Does Bing sing anything Easter themed outside of Easter Parade?
