Hi everyone! My name is John and I am from Shrewsbury in the UK.
Thanks for letting me join this board. I first got interested in Bing because of my late Grandfather who was a massive fan. He used to tell me about seeing his films in the 30s and 40s, and how much he and other soldiers valued his support during WW2.
I inherited his Bing LPs when he died, and have a number of CDs. I am currently reading A Pocketful of Dreams by Gary Giddins.
Anyway, great to be here!

Welcome John from a Bathurstian (220 kms west of Sydney, Australia) so I suppose I'm as far from Shrewsbury as one could be.
