I just recently "discovered" this recording Bing made with Joe Venuti in 1947. They had known each other during the Whiteman days, but I wish they would have recorded more together. Reportedly Bing and Joe were planning an album when Bing died in 1977. Venuti died in 1978.

Hi David
Thanks so much for reminding us of this lovely track... It was the first thing I heard this morning..! It’s on Vol. 46 of the “Chronological” series and there are some real gems contained within this four-week period Bing spent in the recording studio in late ‘47.
Apart from the Joe Venuti companion track - “Ain’t Doin’ Bad Doin’ Nothin’” - there are two great numbers with The Andrews Sisters from “Road To Rio”, and wonderfully full-voiced performances of “I’ll See You In My Dreams” and “Memories”.
