I've been wanting to upload this video to my YouTube channel for a long time, and I've finally gotten around to it this morning. It's a review of my five favorite books on vocal jazz and classic pop by the New York-based critic Will Friedwald, who in my opinion is the best writer on those subjects currently active. I thought the video would be interesting to Crosby fans because several of these books talk about Bing at length. Thanks, Graham! As I say on the video, Friedwald is my favorite vocal jazz and classic pop critic. The last two books I review on the video are absolutely essential for the depth of information, the knowledge, and the quality of the writing. I encourage you (and everyone else) to seek them out!
