Hello, everyone. Just popping in to shamelessly plug my newly redesigned blog, rather that adding tedium to Richard's life by relaying the message through him.
I've recently added a better-late-than-never review of Gary Giddin's excellent and engrossing anthology of DVD reviews, Warning Shadows ( ).
There are also several additions to the advertising/memorabilia page, including a fistful of 78 rpm album covers, a 1945 pamphlet advertising Del Mar, and a grouping of collector premiums ( ).
Plus, for those who may be interested, there's a page on the Golden Age of Radio, which features a smattering of Bing-on-radio items ( ), and a recently revised introduction to the magazine covers page ( ).
If there's someone whom you want to quickly and painlessly familiarize with Bing, direct them to the Bing Crosby Primer ( ).
So, after you've finished perusing this fine forum, feel free to browse the blog. Hope you enjoy.

Plug away, Jon!
Cross-site referencing can only add to the ability of visitors to access all appropriate material.

Just added two print ads from 1959, plus a couple more 78 albums.

...plus "The Crosby Derby" board game, and two candid fan snapshots circa 1930.

Jon,
Do you have the magazines (or, more to the point) the articles in them that may accompany the front cover picture?
Offline
Yes, I do.

Assuming you're talking about the ones pictured, that is...of which I have in my possession perhaps 95%. I have more, but haven't downloaded them yet. If you're referring to the entire list of 250+, then no, it simply wasn't feasible, economically or logistically, to obtain every single one. Just guessing, though, I'd say I own maybe 100 or so.
An interesting side note: not all magazines with Bing on the cover necessarily contain an article or story about him. The August 1947 issue of Movie Life comes to mind.

Several new items have been recently added to the Memorabilia page, including LP covers, photos and a Rancho Santa Fe Pro-Am cover.

...also a half-dozen lobby cards, dating from 1934 (She Loves Me Not) through 1954 (The Country Girl), a color still from High Society, and "still" more LP covers!

The parade of Crosby ephemera marches on: a "Here Is My Heart" window card, a 1936 Dodge ad, and a circa 1940 Del Mar postcard have been recently added.

Perry Como got "stacks and stacks of letters"...Bing did as well, and he was also the subject of stacks and stacks of Memorabilia, Advertising, and Promotional Items! Check out the newly added print ads:
