I can not get this Bing recording out of my head - it's not the best Bing record but something about it...

What a wonderful recording of a lovely song. Bing's December 1945 recording was not released in Australia until August 1947 and, unlike the US Decca, it was backed by his 'Ol' man river' from the same session. The record was reviewed in the monthly music magazine TEMPO : 'Good stuff here with Bing in top form, almost inducing one to think that it is not over with him yet'.
