'Tis not the season, but...
I was surprised to see that Bing had made it onto this, um, eclectic (let's just call it odd) list of "The 25 Greatest Christmas Albums of All Time," compiled by Rolling Stone magazine back in 2012.
To the author's credit, here is a telling quote taken from the blurb about Bing's White Christmas (formerly Merry Christmas) album:
"This is what great singing is. If you don't like it, you're looking for something else."
At least they got that right.
