Richard, I just purchased some photos of Bing with Madge Evans[Pennies from Heaven]. Bing's jacket is a bit vivid in the photo you posted, wasn't that the California look then? On the east coast here in NYC, only people from the Village would wear a jacket like that. All I can say is a loud jacket means a loud voice. Thanks!
