Clicked TV on to Turner Classic Movies and saw the title.
I thought, oh good.
What a disappointment when it was the Steve Martin film. Don't care for him at all, so I didn't watch.
I'd prefer the Dennis Potter ? TV series which I really enjoyed and also The singing detective. Both good series just for the old songs and hearing Bing.

I had the same feeling when I saw "Man on Fire" advertised but it was the Denzel Washington version.

Same here Malcolm. Every time I'm surfing the TV and I see that I'm sucked in.

I don't mind the Steve Martin "Pennies From Heaven". I am a Bernadette Peters fan so that is why!
It does not compare to the 1936 Bing film though!
