An auction site has Metronome Magazine for October 1944 with BING CROSBY & DINAH SHORE on the cover and devotes 13 pages of 38 to him.
'For those who collect hard to find vintage back issues of Metronome magazine, this may seem like a slim issues at only 38 pages, but for fans of Bing Crosby, this one is a MUST HAVE. 'der Bingle' gets some 13 pages of coverage in this issue in articles and photographs. That's WAY more than any single artist ever usually gets in Metronome.'

In Australia in the 1940s Bing received phenomenal exposure in our print media, especially magazines devoted to popular music and radio. Much of the material undoubtedly came from the local Paramount office and was really an excuse to publicise his forthcoming or current movies.
