Steve, you have a very interesting collection.
The fact that it is reel to reel raises the question as to condition - old tapes can become brittle and also shed the magnetic surface. This in turn clogs the playback heads on the tape machine. I know . from experience. Take care of them.
You probably know about care but if not you will find much on the subject* - the need to respool and ideal temperatures etc. I hope you have the means to play them. I disposed of my reel to reel decks several years ago. Reel to reel is a dying medium. I have managed now to digitise the whole of my collection, whatever the original medium. I have hung on to original LPs and CDs though not R to R, cassette and 78 rpm discs.
