Amazing this should come out just after the ICC publicised the imminent Sepia CD "Bing Sings for the Armed Forces Radio Service" which was a year in the planning.

I hope this CD does not take away from what will be on the Sepia CD. I am hoping it has completely different songs. I'll see if I can find out the track details.

I've got a couple of Redmond CDs called "Basic Music Library". I'm away from home at the moment so can't check track listings, but it would be interesting to compare content of this new release with the Redmonds...

The term "Basic Music Library" was used by the AFRS for many of their recordings. It has been adopted subsequently by some issuers of records using the material. There is a book on the series,  though whether it is a history or a discographical listing, I'm uncertain!.("AFRS Basic Music Library Series" by Bozy White).
