Bobby Darin was no Bing but he was a great entertainer and died way too young. Here is his version of the Bing classic Please. Bobby recorded this for a radio show in March of 1963. Darin sang it actually slower as a ballad...

David, this is an extremely interesting version. Indeed, Darin was no Crosby whose version must surely always be definitive but Bobby sang this plaintively, with real sincerity and the gentle rhythm I thought was most effective. I had no idea Bobby Darin had a radio show, as I am not very well informed over his career details. I do have a number of his albums, including the show stopping, "Darin at the Copa" which is one of those live albums, such as "Sinatra at the Sands" where if you close your eyes, you can easily imagine yourself ringside.
