SEPIA Records - Through the Years, Road to Hong Kong/Say One For Me

Just in case anyone has been having any difficulty in finding copies of "Through the Years" Volume 7 or "The Road To Hong Kong" coupled with "Say One For Me",  I am told that Sepia have re-pressed supplies.

Direct links to Sepia  -
Through The Years Vol 7 http://www.sepiarecords.com/1167.html
Road To Hong Kong http://www.sepiarecords.com/1216.html

Obviously our good friends at Sepia have had sufficient interest to believe that it is worth their while to maintain and refresh stocks, which is very good to know. Other replenishments could be on the horizon.

Re: SEPIA Records - Through the Years, Road to Hong Kong/Say One For Me

QUESTION:

As I start to compile my BC collection, trying to get a feel for how best to proceed to avoid over-lap.

My thinking is to get the Jonzo and Through the Years. Do these collections include radio performances?

I ask bc the Mosiac CBS Recordings look neat--but again want to avoid overlap.

At current I have the Completed united Artists Sessions, BC's Legendary Years Box and some albums.

I'm a completist and want it all (to the extent that is possible) --how best to proceed?

Sadly i consider those two soundtrack albums to be the weakest ones Bing recorded like some of Elvis Presley's soundtrack albums during the 1960s a few good  tracks would have made a good extended player 45 rather than an album there were too  many weak songs even "Hey Jude Hey Bing" was an easier to listen all the way through still it's good to have to complete a collection.

I tend to agree with you. I wish Bing would have gone in the studio and made official copies of those songs, and not just the soundtrack versions. Although the soundtrack to Say One For Me, is a lot better than the movie itself.
