Bea Wain - A Ghost Of A Chance
No one could sing the song "A Ghost Of A Chance" like Bing, and he even is credited with co-writing the song. Bea Wain recorded a nice version for Victor Records in 1939 though...

I agree David. She sang that fine song very well. The record label is interesting and I presume the Walter Gross who directed the orchestra is the fellow who wrote 'Tenderly'.

Another Crosby connection is that in the late 30s Bea Wain led a vocal quartet called, 'Bea and The Bachelors', whose personnel included former 'Rhythm Boy' Al Rinker.

Like Bob Hope, Bea Wain made it to 100...April 30, 1917 to August 19, 2017.
A smooth singer, and a neat 'Swing' take of this fine song.
