As an avid reader in general I adore reading about Bing, I cannot describe my admiration for Malcom Macfarlane’s Day by Day, only after I read it I felt that I was actually knew something about Bing and it is the most useful and complete guide to Bing’s life. I have found very interesting information in all Bing’s book written by biographers or associates of his butI hold a special place for Kathryn’s books.
I believe that a wife is able to understand her husband better than even his children, so I was very fascinated to read her three books. The writing style in all of them was very vibrant. And they were more than 500 photographs in all of them.
In 2004 (incidentally the year that I was born) there was a re-printed My life With Bing with the new title My First Years with Bing. I own a hardcover copy of the 1983 first edition, it’s 351 pages book with 250 photographs all in Black and White. And I am wondering if there are any substantial differences between the 1983 and the 2004 version? I would like to know if there are different pictures, another introduction, possible changes in the text, or even if the same photographs are in color.
Judging by the online description they seem identical (minus the title).
