Michael, I read that too about Sinatra. But I also read that Bing became upset with Kennedy too. Kennedy used Bing's place to fool around with Marilyn. Bing did not bother much with him after that. The best Kennedy out of all of them is Robert Kennedy Jr.

Indeed, he did - as per witnessed by his valet George Jacobs who authored a superb book on working for Frankie boy between 1953 and 1968.
As suggested, I'll privately message you very soon.

This is a belated 'hullo' from Australia, Michael. I'm a very old bloke whose early years were pre-television and I was in my late teens when I discovered the early Crosby recordings and I was hooked. Each week I present a two-hour music program on our local community station and always include at least a couple of Crosby records. As for Chicago, I have good memories of 'the windy city' when I studied at the University of Chicago and managed to survive the winter.

Nice to meet you Graham! I don't get to meet many people from Australia. On the bit about Chicago, there are a great many things the city can be commended on, sure. Nothing like a Midwest winter, is there? I was just trying to make a crack about the (sometimes-not-so) friendly antagonism between Chicago and the rest of the state (I being from the 'rest of the state').
