Joe Venuti - I Surrender Dear
The last time I went to Half Price Books I picked up a Joe Venuti/Zoot Sims album from 1975. Some great tracks on the album, and Venuti really demostrates that a violin can be jazzy. They did a Bing number I had to share - "I Surrender Dear"...
By the way - a writer by the name of Gary Giddins did the album notes to the 1975 record!
