Bing in London 1944 captured by British Pathé
Did anyone see this footage in such excellent quality?
The Bing item starts at around 1.53, is followed by another item after which Bing sings Amor, Amor.

Thanks, that was beaut. I presume that Bing's 'partner' was Jack Buchanan. One member of the audience at the Queensberry All-Service Club in August 1944 when Bing sang was a young member of the RAF, Percy Waters. After the war Percy migrated to Australia and now lives in Sydney. Last month Percy and some other Crosby fans attended a lunch arranged by the International Club Crosby's Australian representative, David Currington. Percy is looking forward to celebrating his 100th birthday in December.
