I am a member of the Sons of the Desert, the international fan club of laurel & Hardy. At last night's monthly meeting of our local Sons we screened 'Hollywood Handicap', a 1938 short film directed by Buster Keaton. The film is set in the Santa Anita racecourse and we see some well-known faces enjoying a day at the races, including Oliver Hardy, Al Jolson and....Bing!
I was not aware of this short and, although I guess it ranks as one of Bing's many cameo appearances, I cannot find it listed in the A-Z of Bing's Movies nor on Stephen Lewis's Internet Museum. It is, however, well-documented on the IMDB:

Thanks for the info Jace! I wonder if it is on Youtube? I love Laurel and Hardy! I have all their movies and all the shorts I could find! I guess I'm a Daughter of the Desert? The Murder Case is a favorite of mine! I have the shorts in color too! Rare here in America.
