Here are some pictures of Bing and family with Shirley Temple Black.
The pictures were kindly provided by Dieter from whom we have not heard for far too long.
Thank you Dieter.

I LOVE Shirley Temple. I have all her movies and shorts. My mom grew up watching her and so did I. I cried this morning when I heard the news. And for anyone that thinks her movies are just for little girls I suggest you watch one. I know many grown men who love Wee Winnie Winkie and The Little Rebel as well as some others. Thanks David for this post!

The death of Shirley Temple received considerable coverage in Australian media but I didn't see any reference to her association with Bing; not surprising I suppose.

TCM in USA will pay tribute to Shirley Temple March 9th. If you never saw one of her movies here is your chance. Her movies weren't just for little girls. I know many grown men and women who love some of her movies. I only wish they would have teamed her up with Bing once or twice.
