I stopped at a yard sale this past weekend, and I bought this Bing Crosby record cleaner for 50 cents. I know nothing about it - but did I make a good buy? It is in excellent condition...

Nanticoke, PA! Just about 20 miles or away from my birthplace of Wilkes-Barre. Looks pretty good for it's age and for the sale price. Nice novelty.

David,
Does it have a corduroy-like surface on the other side? Similar ones sometimes appear on ebay, usually for at least a few dollars, more with shipping. On some of them Bing's face takes up a larger percentage of the area, but yours is very sharp looking.
I have a generic Decca one (no picture or artist named). The work surface has lost some its knap, and it appears coarse enough to have been from the 78 rpm era.
I think you got a good buy!
