Aaron, Thanks! I haven't seen it in years and I am getting older so my memory isn't what it use to be. I always loved Gale Sondergaard. Great actress!
She was the creepy woman, busily hypnotising everyone, Carmela.
I'm the same - I think I'm being hypnotised away from my short term memory!

Ian, You are too funny! It is Tex!!! That is what Bing called her. I miss Kathryn, I had some fun times with her. I was her partner on the Road to Brooklyn a couple of times. Lol! My buddy Cagney was blacklisted. Then he made the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy and was never questioned again. Today some celebrities should be blacklisted. I won't name them here.

I think you and Pantelis need to join forces to form a Kathryn Crosby Appreciation Society. Your monthly magazine indeed to be called "The Tex" and your social media moniker "The Text". Does our man in Athens know that you broke bread with her?
"Road to Brooklyn" sounds far more promising than "Road to the Fountain of Youth". Kathryn would surely have been a far better Dottie Lamour replacement than the "Fountain'" proposed Farrah Fawcett Majors.
Yes, old Jim did skillfully dance up the flagpole and down again in that barnstorming of an Oscar winning performance, didn't he? Was this the only time a performer won "Best Actor" in a film musical?
Answers on a postcard to a Spokane zip code, please.
I'm dying more than you'll ever know to learn which celebrities you'd now blacklist.
You have my email. I await with baited breath. Your secrets being safe with me, agent Carmela.

I mentioned the henchmen in Road To Rio.
Carmela, you speak of getting older and the memory not being what it used to be...
I knew one of henchmen was played by Frank Faylen. He also appeared in Welcome Stranger and is the father of the actress who played Bing's eldest daughter in the sit-com.
However, I have to admit, I couldn't remember the name of the other actor who played one of Gale's henchmen. That I had to look up - Joseph Vitale.
I had a feeling he had also worked with Bing in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Nice to know the old grey matter still works. I was right. Vitale played Sir Logris.

Wow! What a family coincidence.
Did you ever have the chance to ask Mr Faylen of his memories of working with Bob - and to a larger extent, Bing? Were you also able to ask his daughter? I'm assuming Frank Faylen is no longer with us - do you know if his daughter still is?
