Hello all,
After some deliberations during the May monthly meeting, and some further discussion beyond that, a decision has been reached to create an Internet Archive account for the International Club Crosby.
Currently, the goal is to upload as many fan publications as possible. All of BINGANG from 1973 onwards is featured. Furthermore, the first 151 issues* of BING Magazine can also be seen here, with more on the way, eventually leading to a 5 year buffer on the uploads. In 2026, all of 2020’s issues of BING will be posted. Also featured currently are the predecessors to BING, Crosbyana and the Crosby Post, both being publications of the initial British Bing Club, later the British Crosby Society.
More club related things will be posted here eventually, talks of the club’s calendar being featured, along with archival videos and interviews related to the club will be uploaded sometime soon as well.
*There are a couple of early issues missing that we hope to amend soon.

I'll be giving a bit of an overview of the page on the ICC meeting this Sunday to make sure everyone can figure out how to use it!

I happened to be going through one of the older issues of BING and found a somewhat prescient comment in response to the Barnes/Moore overdubbing of Crosby/Cole tracks, the comment being that “Are we on the threshold of hearing Bing singing HOME ON THE RANGE with the London Symphony Orchestra?” Seeing that an album with the London Symphony Orchestra finally happened, it was a neat comment to come across.
