While recently doing some research for an article on Robert Mitchum's 1957 ersatz calypso album (Calypso—Is Like So...) for my blog, The Vintage Bandstand, I realized that around the time that Mitchum recorded his calypso LP, he also cut a rockabilly-ish version of Bing Crosby's "My Honey's Lovin' Arms," which is one of my favorite early Crosby numbers. Mitchum wasn't a bad singer at all, and I kinda like his updating of this Crosby classic. You can hear it here:
