One of my favorite "bad" movies was Xanadu. Olivia was great in that film with Gene Kelly!

Olivia, a seemingly truly lovely lady with a golden voice. She's one of the few post Rock 'n' Roll singers I can think of where to my ears, a "cover" version (hers of John Denver's "Country Roads") was the equal of the original. I couldn't agree more with David's sentiments over "Xanadu" which afforded Gene Kelly a final, more than respectable song and dance duet, partnering the marvellous Miss John.

Another great loss, Ron. What an incredibly infectious, natural sounding group The Seekers were. Hit after hit!
She had a voice which never seemed to age, its unmistakable purity now so sadly stilled.
