Bing and Vera Lynn
At 9.10pm this evening (Sunday 8th November), the UK TV Channel BBC Four are showing a programme entitled “Dame Vera Lynn at the BBC”. It will feature her duet with Bing from “The Vera Lynn Show” recorded on 27th July 1975 and broadcast on 24th September of the same year. Hopefully we’ll finally get to see this duet in pristine quality!

Thanks for the ‘heads up’, Jeremy. I already set the recorder in the hope of seeing the duet. Am I right in assuming you might also be on there?

I’ll be absolutely amazed if they show that clip, but if they do I’ll be chasing the BBC for royalties..!
