I was talking about this album on the Bing Crosby facebook, and I commented on how much I disliked the album. Well, I haven't listened to the album in over 10 years. So I put it on, and it was a lot better than I remembered it!
I uploaded the entire album to You Tube, and here is my ranking of the songs...
1. THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE
2. PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON
3. SUNSHINE
4. LOVE IS BLUE
5. CHIM CHIM CHEREE
6. WHAT'S MORE AMERICAN
7. HIGH HOPES
8. MY FRIEND THE DOCTOR
9. DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD
10. TALK TO THE ANIMALS
11. UP, UP AND AWAY

Here is a track that was recorded for the LP, but it was not released on the album but only as a single...

I am currently revisiting this album, and it is sad with the lack of "Where The Rainbow Ends" on most CD releases. I think it is the best track recorded for the album, unless maybe the one track that has never been issued.

I bought the Laserlight edition used online four months ago although Bing sings well on the recording I find the arrangements for album a bit stilted and dated.
