Here is Tony Martin's Nashville version of Pistol Packin Mama from his 1970 album of country songs. It's not very good but worth listening to at least once...

His voice certainly seems different compared to a couple of 45’s I have of him, where his voice is a lot stronger.
Perhaps he was just mucking about on this track - wonder what, if at all, were the other songs he sang at that session.

Sadly the worst version of the song Tony Martin sounds his heart wasn't in it whereas Bing's "How The West Was Won" and "Great Country Songs" , Bing had a genuine feel for the songs. I recently bought several CDs of Tony Martins music from his classic years they were far better sadly Tony Martin couldn't sing country very well.
