    Thanks Malcolm. That's a beaut podcast. I was aware that Louis had recorded 'I surrender, dear' but had never heard it. Although it was such an important record for Bing, Brunswick Australia did not re;lease his single at the time although it did release Will Osborne's version on its Panachord label.
