Our old friends at Cruisin' 1430 AM, in "Star Spangled Radio Hour" have this week abandoned their usual style, of covering old radio broadcasts, and have honoured Bing's birtday with a selection of studio recordings. Listen here.
Items covered range through 1928 to 1956. Nothing unfamiliar to most here, but you get the cheery introductions and commentaries by the two comperes.
They betray a little puzzlement about birth year, a matter that was resolved long ago, and have a few comments about the way popular music and pop culture generally has changed.
