Bing Crosby Sings Johnny Burke
I stumbled across this marvelous collection on Amazon a few weeks ago. It's a digital album and I don't see any physical CD available and even better, it's free to listen to for Amazon Prime members.
Now truthfully, I really wasn't aware of who Johnny Burke was but certainly several of the songs I was very familiar with and it took only a little reading to understand that Burke has a pretty impressive resume and his Crosby compositions are certainly some of the cream of the crop!
I'm not sure who has put this album together but I assume it's not an official BCE album but SHOULD BE!
With the Bing Sings: Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer, & Frank Sinatra this seems like a tragic oversight!
