Please help me identify this version of a Bing Crosby song

Hi all,

I am trying to identify a particular version of the song Happy Holiday by Bing Crosby.

So far, I have found three versions of this song:

1) https://streamable.com/sj4ca
2) https://streamable.com/vh27d
3) https://streamable.com/0o5d1

From what I can gather (and I may be totally wrong,) the first two are as follows:

1) Happy Holiday by Bing Crosby and Martha Mears (dubbing Marjorie Reynolds) from the album "Original Soundtrack Recording of the classic 1942 film 'HOLIDAY INN' starring Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire" (1979).
2) Happy Holiday by Bing Crosby with the Music Maids and Hal from the album "Holiday Inn" (1942).

I have also found this: https://streamable.com/fffob. This is from the album "A Merry Christmas with Bing Crosby & the Andrews Sisters" (2000). However, this appears to be the same recording as #2 above, and so does not in fact feature the Andrews Sisters. Not sure why, in that case, it was released on this particular album.

Like I say, I may be totally wrong about all of these identifications, as I have only found these via endless Googling. Also, the photos on these videos may be wrong, as I added them myself in order to upload to Streamable.

I am trying to identify #3. What I need to know are:

• Featured artist(s).
• The album (or single) on which this track originally appeared, preferably with Discogs link).

What I know is that it appeared on the compilation album "Bing Crosby: Christmas Through the Years" (1995). I know this because I own the album. Unfortunately the liner notes mention neither any featured artists, nor the album from which the song was sourced.

Thanks to Richard for his help so far. He has confirmed that the recording apparently with the Andrews Sisters did not feature the Andrews Sisters at all, but was in fact the version featuring the Music Maids and Hal. He also informed me that my understanding of albums/singles/releases in the 1940s might be way off! But I just need to know where this version originally appeared to be purchased by the public.

I would really appreciate any help with this as I am tearing my hair out trying to work this out!

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: If anyone has issues playing the Streamable links, please let me know in the thread. Thanks.

Re: Please help me identify this version of a Bing Crosby song

Whilst I have given "AkashKS" general information about Happy Holiday and the recorded versions, I have been unable to get the streams to which he gives links to play for me, so if anyone can help --
The covers on the site may not necessarily be be a good guide.

Clearly (without being able to hear anything) the main option would be the tracks from "A Christmas Sing With Bing Around The World" from December 1955, or one of the several broadcasts.

AkashKS - The point about that CD with Bing and the Andrews Sisters is not that they all sing on all tracks. They sing together and separately.

Think No. 3 comes from the Kraft Music Hall broadcast of December 30, 1943.

- in which case the earliest likely issued album (as distinct from copies circulating privately) may have been the Spokane LP #6 "Happy Holiday", issued in the 1980s, image below on right

.
It was also later on a  Vintage Jazz Classics CD VJC-1017-2 - “Bing Crosby - The Christmas Songs”.

I still can't get the stream to play - a half second blast of sound then silence. Neither my laptop nor my desktop computers like the site!
