Malcolm has drawn attention to advance publicity for a BBC item to mark the 40th anniversary of Bing's death.
They are combining this with a celebration of the 70th anniversary of Bing's introduction of pre-recorded radio programmes on tape.

It should be available to all over the internet.
I hope others will find ways of marking the significant anniversary.
