Harry Von Zell
The book I just purchased mentions that Harry Von Zell was the announcer on some Old Gold radio shows. Is that the Harry Von Zell that is on Burns and Allen Show? I will Google and find out.

The answer is Yes! He was chosen from around 250 to announce for Paul Whiteman in 1929. In 1930 when the show ended he went to NYC -CBS.
