Just found out that TCM (Turner Classic Movies) celebrates a birth date with Bing - 1932.
He, too, was born in Washington State in Colfax, which is south of Spokane.
My brother-in-law also celebrates this day - he is a 1930 model (his Mother died on this day in 2003). On a completely different date my sister died on my birthday - puts a bit of a damper on the day.
