I am sorry to report that Joe died on June 25. A real Crosby fan who designed many Crosby covers. See http://joesinnott.com/quotesfromjoltinjoe/bingart.html?fbclid=IwAR0OCo4dqkBSGqOje1sd0ubkGWuXiXY0l2EEywNXwzMp6TZ5LdwOwniPB6c

Didn't recognize the name till I went to the web page referenced and then I knew immediately. Those LP covers bring back a lot of memories to me. I have a lot of them still today. I hang up that Bing Voice of America album cover on my wall every 4th of July. Also used it as a cover to my own Bing CD I created containing all patriotic America songs Bing recorded all on that one CD from radio and records and movie soundtracks. Now that's a CD I also listen to on 4th of July. I didn't know that Joe made a color version of that same picture till I looked at the web page. This is now one I'd like to have on my wall:
What a great artist and drew Bing perfectly. Best I've seen. A sad loss and a real talent.

Likewise. All those Spokane LPs, most with caricatures, some with more "portrait" style, but all instantly recognisable, whilst all following a style that I can now think of as belonging to Joe Sinnott, a name which I have to admit was unknown to me. From the website he seems to have been quite a character.

A sad loss. I remember his wonderful artwork very well.
