Gordon MacRae - I Surrender Dear

I really really like Gordon MacRae's 1947 recording of I Surrender Dear. Bing's version was the best but Gordon MacRae captures the torchiness of the song pretty good...

It was early in Gordon MacRae's career, so I'm sure it was just a song the record producers wanted Gordon to sing. In the late 1940s and early 1950s a lot of Bing's vintage songs were being re-recorded with new crooners like Gordon, Frankie Laine, etc.
