Surely that version of 'Blue Prelude' must be more different from Bing's than any other. I wonder when it was recorded with that accompaniment by many strings. I just learned that Calloway's recording of 'History Repeats Itself' made the Australian charts in 1966. From one of the photos, I assume that his orchestra was the resident band at the Cotton Club.
