Here is a big band version of the Bing Crosby hit from 1939's The Star Maker. I like Bing's vocal better than Woody Herman's own vocal of course, but the big band backing of Woody Herman was great!

Yes, that's a good backing isn't it. A few years ago I read Gene Lees' biography of Herman titled The Leader of the band: The Life of Woody Herman and learned of the respect which other musicians had foe him (and his financial woes). A fascinating life.
