George Hall - There's A Cabin In The Pines

Here's another cover of a Bing Crosby hit. Does anyone remember George Hall? Here is a nice version of the Bing hit from December 27, 1933 with Loretta Lee (1913-1977) on vocal:

One of my favourite Bing records of that period. So many good songs in the 30's.

Though most people don't remember George Hall today, he was a fine bandleader who made many records in the '20s, '30s, and '40s. He is very under-represented as far as reissues go, and this is the only CD I have by him, long out of print and with several Bing-related numbers:

I enjoy hearing other artists' recordings of song I associate with Bing so it was good to hear that record. I'd not heard of George Hall or Loretta Lee before. Thanks for introducing me to them.
