Re: Star Spangled Radio Hour

Problem resolved! Something called uBlock (which I didn't know I had) decided to block ads and active links on the site. Why I don't know and why it has sprung into action at this time is a mystery to me. Disabling it has resolved the problem of getting reactions from Star Spangled Radio Hour. I still get the message on the "Live" stream but the archived streams and the downloads all now work.

I remain puzzled as to when and how uBlock got onto both my computers. It was not a conscious act of mine! An internet search shows that it has a useful purpose but it has been developed since I acquired my computers so I'm mystified.

Re: Star Spangled Radio Hour

Star Spangled Radio Hour is normally devoted to the big bands, Glen Miller tending to dominate, but they do have quite a few of Bing's shows, as past postings here demonstrate.
This week's offering has no Bing, but included among the several short broadcasts there is one with Bob as host, and the Andrews Sisters Maxine, Laverne and and Patty.
"Bob Crosby's Club 15" of April 6 1949,
